Christmas in July: A Slow Stitch Workshop: Fri 31 July

There's something quietly wonderful about stitching Christmas decorations in the middle of winter ~ unhurried, intentional, and a little bit magical. This hands-on workshop invites you to slow down, pick up a needle and thread, and create beautiful embroidered felt ornaments, well ahead of the festive rush.

Together, we'll explore simple hand-stitching techniques as you cut, stitch, and embellish your way through a set of felt Christmas decorations. We'll cover basic slow stitching methods, how to assemble and finish your ornaments, and ways to personalise each piece with colour, texture, and detail ~ making every one a little original.

By the end of the session you'll have crafted three finished ornaments to hang on your tree or tuck away as heartfelt gifts, along with the skills and confidence to keep stitching at home.

This workshop is designed to feel like a creative pause ~ slow, soothing, exploratory, and grounding. No experience needed, just a love of making and a willingness to slow down for a morning.

• Where: Revival Green Studio, 24 Baynes St, Margate

📌 Workshop Policy

Minimum class size: 4 participants
Workshops will run once minimum numbers are reached.
If the class doesn’t reach minimum bookings, you’ll be offered the option to transfer your ticket to another workshop date, or upgrade to a private/small-group session instead (price adjusted accordingly).
If neither option suits, a refund will be issued — no stress, no fuss.

Change-of-mind cancellations are totally okay up to 7 days before the workshop and will be refunded in full.

Due to preparation and materials allocated for each participant, bookings cancelled within 7 days are non-refundable.

If I’m able to fill your place, I’m very happy to transfer your booking to a future workshop.
